Eat In or Eat Out

In this high consumption society, some people may prefer to eat out while others may like to eat in. As for me, I prefer eating at home for totally three reasons for it is cheaper, has a good environment and concerns to health.

First of all, eating at home is much cheaper than eating out. Since this is a prosperous society, I may spend a lot if I really want to be full. However, if I eat in, I can buy many ingredients I want to eat in a lower price in the nearby local market or supermarket. All I have to do is cook them; then, I could have the same delicious dishes as served in those high-class expensive restaurants, but the difference is that I can eat as many as I want. Besides, going to those high-class restaurants usually would need to pay some for their services. Yet, if I eat at home, I surely don’t need to pay for that.

Secondly, the atmosphere in the restaurant makes me feel nervous and uncomfortable, which directly effects my appetite. Usually, people in the restaurant talk loudly and the air is stuffy and wet which makes me feel dizzy and sick. Then, at home, I could have my meals in a quiet, airy place looking at the beautiful scenery, and maybe I would play some soft music. Everything is harmonious. Thus, I don’t need to make myself endure those chaoses when eating.

Least but not last, the sanitation is the most serious problem of eating out. Since merchants’ main purposes are to make money, they might not often change their old kitchenware. In addition, once they are busy, they might not wash their bows or chopsticks carefully. Moreover, the sources of the ingredients are sometimes obscure. With the TV’s powerful stories, I’m really afraid that I would probably become the next victim. So, for the healthy concerns, I would like to eat at home.

To conclude, I believe that to eat in is extremely beneficial for me whatever for the price, the mental aspects or the health. Even though I need to cook by myself, I think it is worth doing for the previous-mentioned advantages. Therefore, I am substantially happy for I eat and live in my own healthy way.

Cell Phones

Nowadays, cell phones are convenient for businessmen in three aspects, which is to talk to anyone easily, to be portable and to get the latest news. In this modern society, it is really inconvenient if you don’t have a cell phone, especially for businessmen. Because a businessman may need to deal with a lot of business, it is sure that he will need a cell phone to help him out for the following reasons.

First of all, a business person might have to keep in touch with all of his customers. However, if he doesn’t have a cell phone, he might have to talk whatever the problem is to his customers in face, which means that he can only meet a client at one time and wastes a lot of times. Maybe, he could write letters, but it still takes times. Then, if he has a cell phone, he could easily talk to any of his customers wherever they are. In addition, he could make those phone numbers in different groups in order to dial them faster. Moreover, some businessmen own many cell phones to differentiate the customers, according to the district or how big the business is.

Second, since a businessman might have to travel everywhere, it is impossible that he would just stay at home or office and adhere to telephones all day. Thus, to be portable for cell phones is another important aspect. With the development of the high technology, cell phones have become much smaller and more exquisite, which businessmen would carry it simply in his suitcase and use it everywhere. Even though some people may think that e-mails are quite useful as cell phones; yet, there haven’t been any laptops that are as small as cell phones to put in the pocket.

Finally, for a businessman, it is necessary to have an idea what the world are doing now. Then, for most people, they might just buy the newspapers in the store or read through the Internet. However, those methods are outdated. Recently, news can be read on cell phones which also result from the high development of technology. So, it is good for a busy businessman to read news no matter when he is waiting for the bus or in the restroom for the number two of his nature calling.

In conclusion, cell phones play an essential part in businessmen’s lives. By using cell phones, businessmen would get their job done with no trouble. For instance, they no longer need to worry about how to connect twenty clients in one day, how to call anyone when they are outside, and how to get the world’s information if they have no time to buy newspapers or they don’t have a computer nearby. Furthermore, using cell phones take less time than other technological products. Therefore, if a businessman wants to succeed, he should get a cell phone for himself firstly. Then, I hold a firm belief that however many works are there, he could handle them over.

High Education

In this century, because of the result of universal education, you can easily find someone who has already graduated from college or institute. However, the concept of the necessity of high education was not seen in the ancient society. In the past, only those, who were the emperors’ officials and usually were emperors’ relatives, could them and their children have the chances to learn. And, their children would heir their fathers’ job as a cycle and those conditions are only for male. After many years, there were some kind emperors who wanted to promote more intelligent people for the country; then, the door to a better life was opened for ordinary people, which still was for male only. Since that time, the ideal of high education to get a better job for life has been rooted deeply in their minds. Later, with the advocacy of the gender equity or feminist, women gain their right to have the education and get a better job as men do.

Overview the whole development of the universal education in history, it’s a hard and long road, which we, now, should make better use of the good system of education and study hard in this contemporary society for reasons. For one thing, there were not so many schools for people to go as we have now. For another, in the ancient times, there were wars everywhere and the whole society was unstable; so, that time didn’t have a good learning environment as we have now. Thirdly, in this new and high technology century, with a great emphasis on multicultural education, you can choose whatever you like to study in schools and discover your potential ability. Still another, if you can’t afford the tuition, there are many ways to help you provided by government. Besides, there are also many scholarships to encourage students to work hard. In short, it has become much easier to be educated in the current society. Only working hard is the thing we have to do.

Nevertheless, some people don’t agree that studying is the only way to succeed. They think they don’t need to get high educational credits to do what they want to do. In their opinion, firstly, with their born-to-be special talent, they might become the next superstars such as those popular singers or sports stars who earn more than one million dollars per year. Thus, they don’t think that they should waste time on further studying. Secondly, for those who want to be a baker or engineer in the future, they would prefer being the apprentice to learn the skills than learning in some other colleges. Thirdly, they even don’t think that they would really learn what they wish to learn in the school. In fact, they totally doubt the education system even though schools all highlight that how well their ideals about multiple education. Therefore, some people choose to go on studying while they choose to step into the society earlier.

In conclusion, according to our laws, nine-year universal compulsory education is required. But, after that, there are two ways you could decide to go. Some may continue to study because it is necessary to have opportunities to get a well-paid occupation in this modern century. Yet, others may like to experience the real society for the first time since they believe that they can do well without going to college. In the end, no matter what their decisions are, high education has been taken as an essential qualification for more and more companies. For example, an opening selection for a cleaner might consist of hundreds of college students. So, certain education is needed in this fast-changing society, which we are not supposed to pay no attention to it.

How to improve your English?

Nowadays, English has become a world language. If you don’t have this ability, you will be less competitive. Hence, many students have to learn English when they were young. However, they face many problems as the time goes by and the upgrading of difficulty that causes them feel frustrated and even want to give up. Many students would have this kind of feeling that they feel they are stuck, they don’t know how to deal with it, and they even think there is no use to do anything. At this moment, it seems that they’ve lost their faith toward learning English. So, I suggest that it’s time to recall your past experience of learning English, and also think it over the most important but simplest question that is “Do you love English?”

In my opinion, to learn English the first thing to do is to build a well psychological construction. So, for one thing, you should ask yourself “do you love English?” Then, you could ask”How interested are you in learning English?” After that, you probably could ask “How many times are you willing to spend on English?” Finally, you might ask “What’s the main aim for learning English?” By those following strategies or questions will not only build a by far the strongest wall in your mind but help you to stand up again.


After recovering, the development of study plans is also essential. Firstly, you should learn more from your daily life; for example, you can try to read English newspapers, listen to English radio programs, or get some recourse from websites, rather than just study for exams. Second, every time you finish studying something, you ought to be sure that you totally understand, or you could ask someone for help. Human Ascending ( film reflection for Bible as literature)

After seeing the film, I feel so shock and astounded. The film which is starred in Barbara Marx Hubbard expressed that it’s time to do something for our living earth. Nowadays, the development of high technology seems to have a great advance from the past; yet, there are still a lot people starving and suffer from war. During the film, it shows us how amazing the evolution of the earth. It starts from nothing in the universe to abundant creatures on earth. Then, humans create a lot destroyed things, such as atomic bomb, which cause a great harm on not only the environment but also its own species, humans. In the end, she says with hope that it is a challenging to make the change. But, if we don’t do it, humans are not making progress and will extinct one day.

CALL HIM MINE

Situation:
This song “Call Him Mine” is performed by Tata Young, a famous Thailand singer. In the song, she felt that her boyfriend had lost the passion toward their love; what’s worse, he didn’t want to do something to make up for that love.





Conflict:
Then, she’s seeing some guy who could push her pain away and started to keep in touch with him.



Struggle:
And, she began to know what she had to do. According to her comparison, although her boyfriend would say “I love you”, and something likes that, she still got hurt and cried. Needing stability, she know that new guy made her feel likes a part of his life even though there would be no sun rising like before. Most importantly, she had to think of the long run and find someone who really appreciated her.



Outcome:
She said goodbye to her boyfriend and she got together with the new guy.



Meaning:
During this song, she’s trying to express that however exciting the love is, girls still want to be stable. In the song, she might have a vigorous love with her ex-boyfriend. He might take her to go through a great adventure. Yet, that passion would not last for too long because of getting tried. To sum up, love is not that easy as teenagers have thought. Providing steady is a kind of maturity of love which is also important rather than just games.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Situation:
While Alice and her sister were sitting by the river, she saw a rabbit run away from her, and she followed. Then, she fell into the hole. In that wonderland, Alice met a lot interesting people and things, such as the Dodo, the White Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the Pig and Pepper, the Mad Tea-Party, and Pokers’ Kingdom.


Conflict:
After falling from the hole, she found a door that was too small to get in. So, she got a bottle written on “Drink me”. Drinking, she became small and got into the door. However, she grew again after she came in the small room. Not knowing what to do, she cried out. Then, she found a fan and gloves left by the hurried rabbit. She started to fan herself. Amazingly, she became small but, she was too small and fell into the pool of her tears. Scared, saving by the mice, she came to meet the Dodo, which was a bird-like animal but could not fly. The Dodo talked strangely and they began to run in a circle to dry themselves. After that, she met the Caterpillar that told her to eat some mushrooms to make her grow. Yet, her neck grew longer rather than the whole body after eating. Then, to recover, she ate another piece. This time, she came to a village and came into one house. She found that the baby was too poor to be here with the Peppers’ couple; so, she took the baby out. Suddenly, the baby became into a pig and ran away. And, Alice met the Hatter, the march Hare, and a Dormouse in a tea party; still, they were talking nonsense which annoyed Alice. So, she went to the Poker’s Kingdom, where there was a queen loving to cut off everybody’s head. In there, Alice was demanded by the queen to play croquet by using flamingos and hedgehogs, and of course, it’s not a fair game. Abruptly, the queen shouted that she would hold a trial, but no one knew whose trial it is. Then, in the court, the queen wanted to know who ate the tart. But, again, queen crazily wanted to cut off everyone’s head. Alice, then, said something for the justice. Angrily, the queen demanded cards to cut her head off.


Struggle:
Alice was scared and she wanted to get to the real world. She hated this crazy world. She wanted to fight for herself.


Outcome:
All of a sudden, Alice began to grow and those cards seemed to be no harm on her. Then, she heard someone’s calling. It was her sister! Finally, she woke up and went home.


Meaning:

The author of this story appears to have a criticism toward the politics in that period of time. I think that this story is a reflection on that time. Perhaps, at that time, the whole country or world is in a chaos. Then, how the residents feel in their hearts? If you are stuck in this chaos, will you stand out and fight for yourself?
